Depth and Intimacy!

Deepening our relationship with Christ requires Confidence and Trust in Him ALONE! As our Trust and Confidence develops and matures so grows the depth and intimacy of our relationship! The more we keep our focus on the Lord and our final destiny, the better we are able to realize how fleeting and empty the standards of the world are! They will NOT and Cannot satisfy the void or hunger in our hearts! We must not become duly concerned about "things" of this world; avoiding placing our confidence and trust in fleeting aspects  of our life-reputation, recognition, pleasure, possessions, or status symbols! Our freedom comes from self-denial rather than self indulgence..."a willingness to risk oneself for something bigger than oneself -that IS Authentic Freedom"! What or Who is bigger than our God?
