With Special Guest Emily Hiatt

Emily Hiatt obtained Bachelors of Science degrees in History and Psychology at Furman University, and a doctoral degree in counseling psychology at the University of Houston. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Houston VA hospital, where she has remained as staff since 2011. She holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Emily divides her time among clinic practice, training, and administrative roles. In her clinical practice, she delivers cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adults with a range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and histories of trauma.  She is grateful for the anchor of her Catholic faith, from which grow hope, compassion, and a desire to help individuals who are suffering.
