His Image and Likeness!

Our relationship with God is predicated on Trust in Him and Surrender of self! This requires discerning if our thoughts words and actions are bringing us closer to God or not? Are our passions and responses consistent with God's Glory or our own? Dying to self is VERY difficult, unless one is in Love with Someone Greater! Dying to self is to allow ourselves to be stripped of anything and everything that is not pleasing to God! We empty ourselves to make room for Him! We let ego, pride and arrogance go, so humility, kindness and patience can grow! Let go and let God as He transforms us and conforms us more and more to His Image and likeness-NOT His to ours!
