Take up His yoke!

We are not created to be totally self sufficient- our culture tells us we are... but God Calls us to be Reliant and Dependent on Him! We have an emptiness, a yearning within us that ONLY God can satisfy or fill! We attempt to fill it with temporal passing things of this world-leaving us empty and unfulfilled! He sent His Son as expiation for our sins- to show us HOW to live: meek and humble of heart! We weigh ourselves down with our own egos -the burden of our own self! We get so caught up in me, myself and I that we lose sight of the TRUE Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit! When we stay yoked to our Lord we are FREE- not from suffering...but more importantly freedom from self and the bondage of sin! Take up His Yoke and Walk WITH Him -for His yoke is easy and His burden is LIGHT! Love and prayers! ✝️
