Deacon James Anderson

Deacon James Anderson, our Administrator at Holy Name Retreat Center, was ordained into the Diaconate on January 31, 2015 and assigned to Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church in Sugar Land, Texas. Deacon James is originally from South Louisiana and a University of Louisiana, Lafayette, Ragin’ Cajun. His oilfield job moved him and his wife of 36 years, Carla, to Sugar Land in 2005. They have one daughter, Megan, who is now 33 years old. In 2015 he retired from 35 years in the oil industry and now spends his time in ministry to the Church and Holy Name Retreat Center.
