In the Beatitudes of St. Luke’s Gospel, Jesus tells the crowd and to each of us, “Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh.”  It’s difficult to imagine or be satisfied with Jesus’ promise when one is mourning the loss of a loved one; the experience of joy and relief seems out of reach in the midst of sorrow and confusion.  If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, take this opportunity to come to a Day of Reflection on Bereavement.  Our speakers will talk about grief, recovery, and placing hope in Jesus’ promise of salvation and joy.
