This Passionist Spiritual Direction Program was launched in Spanish for the first time in 2012 at Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center, in Houston, Texas. For ten years the program has grown within the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston, certifying over 140 Spanish-speaking Passionist Spiritual Companions and bearing rich spiritual fruit in more than 40 parishes.
Given the spiritual richness of this program and fulfilling the vow of spreading the devotion to the mystery of the Passion of our Lord, the Passionist family has adapted this program and it is now offering it to the English-speaking catholic community and all who wish to embrace the message of the Passion through our traditions of compassion, hospitality, prayer, silence, solitude, poverty, family, community and Eucharist.
This program is centered on the legacy of St. Paul of the Cross in the practice of spiritual direction through his abundant legacy of letters and a growing Passionist tradition of over 300 years.
